Service Description

Get your training journey kick started by enrolling into the Getting Started course! This is a fabulous six week program aimed at dogs who have had little or no training. At the end of the course, you will receive an official Ulti-mutt paws certificate and rosette. Topics and exercises that will be covered include: - Positions (sit, lay down and stand up) - Walking on a loose lead - Come when called - Handling, basic grooming & health checking - Wait patiently - Stop jumping up - Leave objects when asked - Settle down - Focus on owner - Drop an object - Bond building & effective communication All exercises start off super easy and progress over the weeks. This course is suitable for dogs who have had little or no training and the nature of the exercises makes the course appropriate for new or experienced dog owners. Class groups are small and all dogs must be friendly towards people and other dogs. Once booked, you will receive a welcome e-mail which will detail everything you need to know and bring with you. Please ensure you read this prior to attending your first class. Due to the participant dogs being adult and having little or no training, it is advised that only two adults per dog attend class. Children attending class must be impeccably behaved and stay with their responsible adult at all times. Please be aware that classes are kept to a maximum of four dogs per group, are conducted indoors and outdoors (outdoors as much as possible) and all owners will need to adhere to our strict policies and social distancing measures.
